Counting the Pros of the 2020 GMC Terrain

GMC Terrain has always been one of our favorite crossover SUV models. So, when GMC released the 2020 year edition of its flagship model Terrain, we couldn’t wait any longer to get a first-hand drive experience with it. We visited the Palmyra GMC dealer showroom, where the staff members cordially invited us to take a test drive with the 2020 GMC Terrain model. And here’s the count we had for its pros.

Stylish Exterior

As a crossover SUV model, the 2020 GMC Terrain is surprisingly unique to look at. It has a style of its own that is best expressed through its exterior design cues. The overall appearance makes it stand on a higher pedestal that no doubt helped the model series attract more number of buyers this season.

It is a five-seated crossover SUV thatmatches its style with its efficiency both in terms of performance and ride comfort. So, we would take pleasure in mentioning all those factors that contribute in creating a comfortable ride space.

We were a small group of auto experts and so we got to test the 2020 GMC Terrain both from the driver’s and passenger’s view. From there we could derive to this conclusion that through the 2020 Terrain model series GMC wanted to reward both the drivers and the passengers alike, while an impressive set of standard features helped the 2020 GMC Terrain step higher in the parameters of value packaging.

2020 Model Year Lineup

Even for the year 2020 GMC didn’t show much enthusiasm in giving the Terrain series any significant cosmetic changes. So the 2020 lineup of Terrain receives only one additional exterior paint shade to the existing color palette while an optional premium package is offered on the higher trim modelsof Denali. But at the power front GMC drops down the turbodiesel engine from the 2020 lineup which was earlier available in the 2019 year lineup. To count the trims of the 2020 GMC Terrain there are four dynamic levels named as SL, SLE, SLT, and Denali.

Engine Outputs

The one important point among all the other pros of the 2020 GMC Terrain models is its performance. The order sheet says there are two engine and powertrain options, among which one is the 1.5liter turbocharged inline-4 engine and the other is a 2.0-liter version of the same.

Both are given a 9-speed automatic transmission to transfer the power to the mostly the front wheels, as per the standard rules, but can also reach out to all four of them if you order your 2020 GMC Terrain model with such configuration.

Our test drive with the2020 GMC Terrain at the showroom premise of the Palmyra GMC dealership made count yet another pros of the vehicle model, which is its good hauling capacity. Each of the 2020 GMC Terrain cabin is capable of seating four adults with comfort along with their belongings behind the third row that measures 29.6 cubic feet but can be expanded up to 63.3 cu. Ft, if you fold down the rear seat.
