GMC Terrain has always been one of our favorite crossover SUV models. So, when GMC released the 2020 year edition of its flagship model Terrain, we couldn’t wait any longer to get a first-hand drive experience with it. Even for the year 2020 GMC didn’t show much enthusiasm in giving the Terrain series any significant cosmetic changes.So the 2020 lineup of Terrain receives only one additional exterior paint shade to the existing color palette while an optional premium package is offered on the higher trim modelsof Denali. But at the power front GMC drops down the turbodiesel engine from the 2020 lineup which was earlier available in the 2019 year lineup.To count the trims of the 2020 GMC Terrain there are four dynamic levels named as SL, SLE, SLT, and Denali.
Engine Outputs
The one important point among all the other pros of the 2020 GMC Terrain models is its performance. The order sheet says there are two engine and powertrain options, among which one is the 1.5liter turbocharged inline-4 engine and the other is a 2.0-liter version of the same.
Both are given a 9-speed automatic transmission to transfer the power to the mostly the front wheels, as per the standard rules, but can also reach out to all four of them if you order your 2020 GMC Terrain model with such configuration.
